In the summer of 2016, the life of Antoine Eric Dickerson, a 35-year-old Black male from Aiken, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On the evening of July 14, Dickerson was found deceased, the victim of a fatal shooting. His death was officially ruled a homicide, leaving his family and community searching for answers.
