In the early spring of 2020, a heartbreaking discovery brought a month-long search to a somber close in Aiken, South Carolina. The body of 20-year-old Trenton Nichols, a male resident of North Augusta who had been reported missing in February of that year, was found. His remains were located along a wood line off St. Johns Church Road on March 30, 2020.

The grim reality of Nichols's fate was confirmed by the Aiken County Coroner's Office, which officially ruled his death a homicide. An au ...
