Benjamin Johnson, a 37-year-old father of four, tragically lost his life on January 20, 2017, in Columbia, South Carolina. Johnson was fatally shot during an altercation that occurred while he was attempting to purchase marijuana. The incident took place around 9 p.m. on Camelot Street, and it was inadvertently captured on the reality TV show "Live PD," which follows police officers in real-time as they respond to various incidents.
