Terrence Merchant, a 16-year-old from Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 27, 2004. He was one of the victims in a double homicide that also claimed the life of 12-year-old Courtney Dixon. The incident occurred in front of Dixon's home, where both teenagers were shot to death. The community was left in shock and mourning as they grappled with the loss of two young lives.
