In the early morning hours of August 22, 2019, a normal night out in Columbia, South Carolina, turned into a scene of tragedy and violence. Christopher Lott Jr., a 35-year-old man, was at McCary's Bar and Grill on Bush River Road when a dispute escalated into a deadly shooting. The night was shattered by gunfire around 2:15 a.m., leaving a trail of devastation that would forever alter the lives of many.
