On February 16, 2024, 16-year-old Fahim Khalid was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his torso in the front yard of a residence on Bywood Drive in Columbia, South Carolina. Deputies arrived to find his stepfather attempting to render aid, but tragically, Khalid was pronounced dead at the scene.
