In the quiet neighborhood of northeastern Richland County, a tragedy unfolded on a Friday afternoon that cut short the life of a promising young man. Fahim Khalid, a 16-year-old Black male, was found unresponsive in the front yard of a residence on Bywood Drive on February 16, 2024. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his torso.
