Damajne Hicks, a 25-year-old man from Columbia, South Carolina, was shot and killed on May 31, 2025. The incident took place at the Redpoint Columbia apartments on Southern Drive. Richland County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to a shooting call around 6 a.m. and found Hicks inside an apartment with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
