Damajne Hicks, 25, a Black male from Columbia, South Carolina, was killed on May 31, 2025, inside an apartment at the Redpoint Columbia complex on Southern Drive. Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene around 6 a.m. and found Damajne Hicks, 25, unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds; he died at the scene.
