In the quiet of a November night in 2018 in Columbia, South Carolina, a sequence of brutal events unfolded, leaving a community shaken and two families mourning an irreversible loss. On the evening of Wednesday, November 7th, in a home on Whispering Pines Road, 25-year-old Brennan Montgomery and a 24-year-old woman, Jasmine Richardson, were viciously attacked. The tranquility of the neighborhood was shattered by the sounds of a violent struggle that would ultimately claim two lives.
