Desmond "Des" Wilson Jr., a 17-year-old from Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2022. Desmond was shot and killed at an apartment complex located on Garners Ferry Road. The incident occurred just after midnight, and he was found lying in the breezeway of the apartment building when deputies arrived at the scene. The Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford, confirmed his identity and stated that the investigation into his death was ongoing.
