Death by Force

Jaquan Ashford, a 22-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 21, 2020. The incident occurred at the Gable Oaks Apartments on Colleton Street, where Ashford was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Richland County Coroner, Gary Watts, confirmed that Ashford's death was due to the gunshot injury.
