In the early morning hours of July 8, 2015, a night out in Columbia, South Carolina, ended in tragedy for 23-year-old Brandon Samuel Brown. The young man was at the Faces Lounge Bar & Grill located on Decker Boulevard when he was shot. Richland County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 5:30 a.m. and found Brown with a gunshot wound to the lower body.
