Dr. Raja Fayad, a 45-year-old associate professor at the University of South Carolina, tragically lost his life on February 5, 2015, in a murder-suicide incident. Fayad, who was a respected member of the Arnold School of Public Health, was shot multiple times by his ex-wife, Sunghee Kwon, in his office on the fourth floor of the Arnold Public Health Research Center.
