On a tragic afternoon in August of 2015, Donte Doyle, a 29-year-old man from Columbia, South Carolina, lost his life in a senseless act of violence. On August 11, while standing outside his apartment at the River Oaks Apartments on Bush River Road in Lexington County, Doyle was shot multiple times. He was simply smoking a cigarette when the gunfire erupted. He was rushed to Lexington Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
