On April 11, 2024, 16-year-old Jayden Alexander Scales-Amiker was fatally shot in Columbia, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 100 block of Angel Garden Way, where both Jayden and 35-year-old Marvin D. Archie were pronounced dead at the scene. A 14-year-old individual also sustained a gunshot wound during the altercation and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
