Alphonso Rowe, a 77-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, was tragically killed on August 7, 2019, while sitting on his porch and drinking coffee. The incident occurred on Putnam Road and was identified as a drive-by shooting. Columbia Police have stated that they do not believe Rowe was the intended target of the shooting. The investigation revealed that a teen relative living at Rowe's home had an ongoing dispute with someone, which may have been connected to the shooting.
