Ernest Shelton, a 51-year-old male from Seminole, Texas, tragically lost his life on March 4, 2017. Shelton was one of four victims in a shooting spree that shook the small town of Seminole. The incident began at Perika's Terrace, a local restaurant, where Shelton and another man, Miguel Diaz, were found shot in the parking lot. Witnesses identified Jacob R. Groening, 31, as the shooter. Groening fled the scene but was later apprehended by authorities.
