On June 4, 2023, at approximately 3 p.m., Adam Glass, a 33-year-old aspiring rapper known as "Glizzy," was fatally shot while receiving a haircut at the Black Lotus barbershop inside North Star Mall in San Antonio, Texas. Two assailants, both wearing black hoodies, approached Glass and shot him multiple times in what authorities have described as a targeted, execution-style attack. The gunfire caused panic among shoppers, leading many to flee or seek shelter within the mall.
