On February 25, 2024, Kokayi Millner Livingston, a 35-year-old Black / African American male originally from Wilson, North Carolina, was tragically killed in Columbia, South Carolina. Deputies from the Richland County Sheriff's Department responded to a call at the Carrington Place Apartments, where they discovered Livingston unresponsive in the breezeway of one of the buildings.
