Christopher LaDarren Simmons Jr., a 19-year-old from Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 19, 2017. The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on that Friday evening. According to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts, Simmons died from multiple gunshot wounds.
