In the spring of 2021, a burst of gunfire on an April evening in Columbia, South Carolina, abruptly ended the life of Tony Geron Henry, Jr. The 27-year-old male was found shot on Farmview Road on April 7, 2021. The Columbia Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert, a system designed to detect and locate gunfire, which led them to the scene where they discovered the fatal shooting.
