In the spring of 2018, the life of 24-year-old Dayton Rashae Hoefer was tragically cut short in Columbia, South Carolina. On the evening of April 26th, deputies from the Richland County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to Crane Creek Drive around 5:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting. The incident, which stemmed from an altercation, resulted in Hoefer suffering a fatal gunshot wound to his torso.
