Dayton Rashae Hoefer, a 24-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2018. Hoefer was shot on the 400 block of Crane Creek Drive around 5:30 p.m. that day. He was transported to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital by his friends, where he later succumbed to a gunshot wound to the torso.
