Eugene Bell Jr., a 32-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2024, in a shooting incident that occurred on King Street in Columbia. The incident took place around midnight in the 1200 block of King Street, where Bell attempted to intervene in a verbal altercation between his cousin, Tamara Anderson, and an acquaintance.
