Ronald A. Bonnette, aged 58, tragically lost his life on October 26, 2018, in Columbia, South Carolina. The incident occurred at the Petan Apartments on Beatty Road around 8 p.m. while Bonnette was taking out his trash. According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, Bonnette was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a gang-related shootout. The Richland County Coroner's Office identified the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the torso.
