Do you know who murdered Isaiah Snoody? In the winter of 2018, the life of Isaiah Jawon Snoddy, a 28-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of Thursday, February 15th, a concerned relative made a grim discovery inside an apartment at 1215 Heafer Road. There, they found Snoody, who had been deceased for what appeared to be several days.
The subsequent investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department revealed that Snoody had been the victim of a homicide, having suffered a
fatal gunshot wound. Authorities were called to the scene in the Middletown area, near the intersection with North English Station Road, after receiving a report of a person down inside the residence. Despite the efforts of the LMPD Homicide Unit, the case grew cold.
To this day, Isaiah Snoody's murder remains unsolved, leaving a painful void for his family and community. The police have not publicly identified any suspects in connection with his shooting. A memorial service to honor his life was held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Bates Memorial Baptist Church. Law enforcement has continued to appeal to the public for any information that might lead to an arrest and bring a measure of justice for Snoody's untimely death.
