On a somber Labor Day, the life of 28-year-old Deyonte Foster, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. His body was discovered in an alley in the Russell neighborhood, near the intersection of South 26th and Magazine streets, on the morning of September 5, 2022. An autopsy would later confirm that Foster had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
