On April 17, 2018, 57-year-old Brendan McCourtney was found deceased beneath an overpass in the 600 block of East Washington Street, near the Armstrong Extreme Skate Park in Louisville, Kentucky. The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) initiated a death investigation upon the discovery of his body around 10 a.m. At the time, officials stated that foul play could not be ruled out, and an autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death.
