In the early morning hours of a mid-September Saturday in 2019, the life of 33-year-old John Louis Green Jr. was tragically cut short in Columbia, South Carolina. On September 14th, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Richland County Sheriff's deputies on patrol discovered Green walking in the 7200 block of Clifford Drive. Upon stopping to check on him, they made a grim discovery: Green had been shot.
