In the early evening of Tuesday, February 26, 2019, Isaiah Thomas Martin Jr., a 27-year-old male, was found with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Arrington Place Apartments on Carnegie Street in Columbia, South Carolina. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 7 p.m. and transported Martin to a local hospital. He had been shot in the upper body and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
