In the spring of 2025, the life of Aaron Justin “Soupy” Weibel, a 34-year-old male, was cut short in a violent encounter. On the evening of April 17th, in the parking lot of an Arby's restaurant on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia, South Carolina, an argument broke out between Weibel and a teenager. The dispute escalated into a physical fight, culminating in the teen shooting Weibel once in the upper body. Weibel, a resident of Camden, South Carolina, succumbed to his injuries.
