In the summer of 2019, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Columbia, South Carolina. Emmitt I. Hart, a 20-year-old male, was fatally shot on the night of Saturday, July 27, 2019. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the Lakeshore Village Apartments located at 7545 Garners Ferry Road. Hart was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
