In February of 2020, the quiet community of Chester, South Carolina, was unsettled by the discovery of a local man's untimely death. Terry Lee Jones, a 57-year-old male, was found deceased in his residence on Pinckney Road. Initial reports from the scene were conflicting, with some indication that the death was the result of a shooting. However, the official cause of death was later determined to be from a severe beating.
