Tashon S. Grant, a 28-year-old resident of Brookdale, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2020. The incident occurred during a heated argument over a basketball game. According to reports, Grant and Rodney Rivers, 25, were engaged in a one-on-one basketball game on a court behind an elementary school in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The game escalated into a verbal altercation, during which Rivers left the court, retrieved a handgun, and fatally shot Grant.
