In the late hours of an autumn night in Burton, South Carolina, the life of 18-year-old DaRhon Brooks was tragically cut short. On the evening of October 23, 2024, Brooks, a male resident of Beaufort, was in a vehicle with two other individuals when they came under gunfire near the intersection of Parris Island Gateway and Trask Parkway.
