In the early morning hours of September 13, 2019, the quiet of a Burton, South Carolina neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunshots. When Beaufort County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at a home on Coinbow Loop around 5 a.m., they discovered the body of 50-year-old Reginald D. Chaplin.
