On the night of October 26, 2020, 56-year-old Clyde Allen Bostick was fatally shot on South Fifth Street, near Mars Bluff Road in Florence County, South Carolina. Law enforcement responded to a call late in the evening and discovered Bostick at the scene with gunshot wounds. The Florence County Coroner's Office confirmed his identity. His death was one of two deadly shootings to occur in the county within a three-day period.
