Quantavious Torbit, a 17-year-old resident of Rock Hill, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on June 25, 2017. Torbit, a rising senior at South Pointe High School and a promising basketball player, was shot and killed during an altercation at Sunset Park. The incident began as a planned fight between two women, one of whom was Torbit's sister. As the fight escalated, gunshots were fired, resulting in Torbit being shot three times. He was defending his sister during the altercation.
