Akeen A. Sloan, a 30-year-old man from Greenville, South Carolina, spent the final hours of his life in the quiet early morning of Saturday, December 12, 2020, at a building along Anderson Road on the outskirts of town. Just before 3 a.m., Greenville County deputies were called to the address after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found Sloan gravely wounded.
