Jonathan Lemuel Lara, a 22-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on June 26, 1999. He was working at a Radio Shack in Greenville, South Carolina, when he was brutally murdered. Lara was found in the back room of the store, restrained to a chair with flex ties and stabbed in the neck with a screwdriver. The front door of the store was locked, the lights were out, and a "closed" sign was hung in the window. This gruesome scene was discovered by a co-worker who arrived at the store.
