On the evening of February 11, 2023, law enforcement officers in Greenville, South Carolina, were dispatched to a residence on Mayflower Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival at the scene around 8 p.m., deputies discovered 17-year-old Nyquan Miller, an African American male, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The teenager was critically injured during the violent encounter, which occurred in a residential area of the county.
Emergency medical personnel
quickly transported the wounded teen to a local hospital for urgent treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff to save his life, the severity of his injuries proved fatal. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed that he succumbed to his wounds and passed away during the early morning hours of the following day, February 12, 2023.
