On the evening of February 11, 2023, 17-year-old Nyquan Miller was found with a gunshot wound on Mayflower Avenue in Greenville, South Carolina. Emergency responders transported him to Prisma Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after midnight on February 12. The Greenville County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Miller died from a gunshot wound to the head, ruling his death a homicide.
