On April 21, 2024, 19-year-old Cor'Shawn McGee was fatally shot at Herdklotz Park on Beverly Road in Greenville, South Carolina. McGee was attending a gathering at the park when the incident occurred. Deputies responded to reports of gunfire around 12:15 a.m. and found McGee suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
