On November 26, 2000, 44-year-old Terry "Dale" Fetner was brutally murdered outside his apartment at Azalea Hills in Greenville, South Carolina. Fetner had returned home from a day of working on a mountain home in Saluda, North Carolina. Before he could enter his apartment, he was attacked and stabbed multiple times at his front door. His body was discovered shortly after the assault, but despite an extensive investigation, no suspects have been identified, and the case remains unsolved.
