In the early morning hours of December 19, 2020, a dispute that began inside a Columbia, South Carolina convenience store tragically escalated, leaving two men dead. Curtis Dinkins, a 37-year-old male, and Corey Smith, 41, were fatally shot in the parking lot of the Motor City Market on Fairfield Road. The incident unfolded around 2:40 a.m. after an argument broke out inside the 24-hour convenience store.
