In the fading afternoon light of a November day in Lancaster, South Carolina, the life of 21-year-old Tykeon Clyburn was tragically cut short. On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, Clyburn was near a basketball court on Pardue Circle when gunfire erupted shortly after 3 p.m. He was struck by the bullets and rushed to MUSC-Lancaster, but his injuries proved fatal. Another man was also seriously wounded in the shooting and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
