In the late afternoon of August 15, 2018, in Lancaster, South Carolina, the life of 34-year-old Demarcus Laquan Hendrix was tragically cut short. Responders were called to a residence on Hood Park Lane around 5:30 p.m., where they discovered Hendrix in the yard, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Springs Memorial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
