In the late summer of 2014, the life of 19-year-old J'Quayl Port'ee Frazier was tragically cut short in Lancaster, South Carolina. On the evening of Wednesday, September 10, Frazier was at his uncle's home on Taylor Street. What began as a seemingly ordinary night was shattered by the sound of six or seven gunshots, initially mistaken for firecrackers. Following the sounds, Frazier's uncle and another nephew discovered him in the backyard, struggling to breathe from a gunshot wound to the back.
