In the small town of Loris, South Carolina, the Thanksgiving weekend of 2021 was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 30-year-old Colloyd Jackson. A Black male, Jackson was shot on Redenbo Drive on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was rushed to a local hospital, but the gunshot wound proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead by the Horry County Deputy Coroner.
