In the spring of 2009, a young Hispanic man's life was tragically cut short on the east side of Indianapolis. On the evening of May 29th, 24-year-old Armando Samaniego, sometimes referred to as Ardo Saiego, was in the vicinity of East 38th Street and North Post Road when the sound of multiple gunshots pierced the air. Witnesses in the area reported seeing a vehicle speeding away from the scene immediately following the gunfire.
