Charity Loretta Lee Southerland, a 21-year-old resident of Pelzer, Greenville County, South Carolina, was tragically found dead in her home on Eastview Road on April 2, 2022. According to the Greenville County Coroner's Office, Southerland had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and her death was ruled a homicide. The discovery was made by a family member around 2 p.m., and she was pronounced dead shortly after. The coroner's office noted that she had "suspicious, visible trauma" when found.
