Mary Marie Fowler, a 43-year-old woman from Greenville, South Carolina, was tragically killed on Christmas Eve in 2014. The incident occurred in the early hours of December 24 when Fowler and her male companion, James Jerry Dobson II, stopped to offer a ride to a hitchhiker on the roadside in western Greenville County.
