On a Memorial Day evening in Spartanburg, South Carolina, a large party filled Collins Avenue with hundreds of people. The festive atmosphere took a tragic turn on May 30, 2022, ending the life of 18-year-old Christopher Tyrone Tyshun Petty. The young man, a male, was fatally shot amidst the chaos as police were attempting to disperse the sizable gathering.
